Hobsons Australia ist Teil einer internationalen Organisation, die sich dafür engagiert, Studenten in der Wahl ihrer richtigen Ausbildung und Berufsmöglichkeiten zu assistieren. Unsere Produkte und Dienstleistungen zielen darauf ab, Studenten aus allen Teilen der Welt in die Lage zu versetzen, aufgrund der ihnen zur Verfügung stehenden Informationen die richtigen Kurse und Berufsmöglichkeiten zu wählen und sie mit denjenigen Berufsbildungsinstitutionen und Arbeitgebern von Absolventen zusammenzubringen, die ihren Bedürfnissen und Fähigkeiten am besten entsprechen.
Die Serie The Good Universities Guides hat seit ihrer Einführung 1991 den Ruf erlangt, umfassend, zuverlässig und unabhängig über australische Hochschuleinrichtungen zu informieren.

Hobsons wurde 1974 als Nebenstelle des englischen Careers Research and Advice Centre (CRAC) geschaffen und ist jetzt in den Daily Mail and General Trust plc eingegliedert. Hobsons hat sich mittlerweile zu einer echten weltweiten Organisation entwickelt und unterhält Büros in Großbritannien, den USA und Australien.
